DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton

We love Hilton but was a bit disappointed by this Doubletree by little things that make a difference that can be fixed. 1st off - Aaron at the front desk was awesome!!!! Very warm, welcoming and hospitable. The 1st floor look was very nice. The beds were nice and comfy. We called for blankets and they came right away - and the last that brought them up was.

The property was perfect! The entire hotel was very clean! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Being that I was a solo traveler I felt very safe here. It had the perfect location to check out some restaurants downtown. 4 golf courses pretty close to the property so it was a prime location for those who like to golf. The full gym was an excellent addition. The bar/restaurant inside seemed to offer yummy food and drink options without having to drive anywhere.

The night staff was welcoming and helpful when we arrived around 1am to check in after a difficult long drive. We had called ahead to announce our delayed arrival and the staff member taking our call was also very gracious. To my exhausted daughter, the warm welcome cookie felt like heaven. I was impressed with the luxurious clean beds - full of fluffy pillows and super comfortable. I had the best 5 hours of sleep in a long time - as we had to leave early to continue our trip.

The staff and assistant manager trying to help me bc Booking.com never sent my reservation which resulted in cancelation of my reservation after traveling 2.5 hours to get there for a conference.
